A Little Bit of Style by Zoe Demar

A little bit country with a little of rock’n’roll is the styling behind this look. As much fun as it is to get all dolled up, I don’t think one can beat dressing it down to something more casual. I really wanted to take a look and twist it up a bit from different designs from across the grid.

Home Sweet Home
After taking this shot I decided that I really like this look enough to blog about it. I might blog some looks from some pictures but mainly the outfit has to hit the mood that I am in.
I had previously used these pants in a shot that’s almost a year old now, but I wanted to modernize it a bit with things I have picked up more recently.

Styling by Zoe

The pants are retro pair in maroon from Canimal. I’m pretty sure country isn’t what she had in mind designing these, but I really like how the black belt like material is in the lower portion of the leg instead of just as a belt at the top. The boots from Shiny Things are my old stand by that I tend to pull out often. The texture on them is still amazing, and they aren’t sculptie made as much as one would think! I tried to mimic the texture on the hat which I modded the heck out of. It’s originally a hair design with sculptie hat from Celestial Studios called Cowgirl.

To top the outfit off, I mixed in some more Celestial Studios with the tank in brick color. I have multiple colors of this top as it has all the layers you need, is quality created, and just goes with anything. The jacket is definitely something that sticks out when it comes to detail. It’s from the Inferno outfit by BareRose. I’m always impressed with the individual items as well as the overall outfits. And the best thing is, they aren’t over priced for the quality and color choices a buyer receives.

The curly ponytail hair named Chelsea is by Aden shown here in the color brown. I’m always floored by Aden. If one reads my blog they would definitely see a lot of Aden styles popping up because of uniquely styled and textured they are. I typically do have to adjust to fit my head a bit but with mod permissions I have not had many problems. The skin is Samantha by Soda; I like how natural looking it is which is what I was going for here. Overall I felt like this look could be used in a number of ways depending upon how you accessorize it. The boots and hat definitely give it the country feel but by only adding the wrap bracelets by ETD, it really gives it more of that rock’n’roll edge.

Thanks for reading :)
